What is the EETS domain statement Blankenburgverbinding?
On the basis of European and Dutch laws and regulations, the EETS Domain Statement (EDS) Blankenburgverbinding is the document containing all the conditions that (E)ETS providers must meet in order to be admitted to a so-called EETS domain. The EETS Domain Statement Blankenburgverbinding also includes the model for the (E)ETS agreement concluded between the toll charger and an (E)ETS provider for toll services in the Blankenburgverbinding EETS domain. The process of admitting (E)ETS providers is also known as accreditation. Accreditation is necessary for:
- Authorisation to provide toll services in the EETS-domain.
- Sign service contracts with owners or holders of motor vehicles.
- The collection of tolls from holders for passages within the EETS domain Blankenburgverbinding on the basis of a service agreement and the (mandatory) payment thereof to the toll charger (RDW).
(E)ETS providers that have been admitted for service provision in the EETS domain Blankenburgverbinding of the temporary toll collection are entitled to receive remuneration under European and Dutch laws and regulations.
