Object

Do you disagree with a fine or decision made by us? You can make an objection. If you want to object online to a fine, you can view the relevant photos. 

What you need to know first

  • For online objection, you need DigiD. If the vehicle is in the name of a company, you need to use eHerkenning. Do you live abroad? Perhaps you can log in via eIDAS. 
  • Don't want to object online? Read ‘I prefer post‘, at the bottom of this page. 
  • Do you want to object to a decision on a dispensation? You can do that by post only. Read ‘I prefer post‘, at the bottom of this page.
  • Write your objection in Dutch. If we receive an objection in another language, we may ask you for a translation.

You don't agree with the payment reminder

You don't agree with the payment reminder you received from us? If so, do not object, but request a correction

Not satisfied with us

Are you not satisfied with us? For example, about the way we helped you. If so, don't object, but file your complaint.

How to file an objection online

  1. Log in via the button 'Object using DigiD' or 'Object using eHerkenning' or 'Object using eIDAS.
  2. Enter the registration number and CJIB number.
  3. You can first view the pictures of the toll ride. Then you can make an objection.

How is your objection processed

  1. You will receive a letter informing you that we have received your objection. 
  2. We will take up your objection. If necessary, we will contact you.
  3. You must send your objection to us within 6 weeks of the date on the decision. After that, we have 6 weeks to respond to your objection. We will let you know in time if we need more time to decide.
  4. You will receive a letter with our decision on your objection.

If you don't agree with our decision on your objection, you can go to court to appeal. The letter with our decision tells you how to do so.

Do you prefer post?

Do you prefer to write a letter or you do not have DigiD or eHerkenning? Please send your objection to:

You must at least put the following in your objection and enclose:

  • the date, your name, address and signature
  • the decision to which you are objecting (send a copy of the letter with the decision, or quote the letter's reference)
  • why you disagree with the decision
  • documents related to the objection (e.g. photos, letters or invoices).

Would you like to have a talk with us to explain why you don't agree with the decision? If so, write in your objection that you want to be heard. File your objection no later than 6 weeks from the date at the top of the letter. Also write your phone number in the objection.
